Hi Everyone, I thought after seeing your projects, I'd show you a few pictures of where I'm from. As you know, I'm from Minnesota, and actually a part which is known for snow and cold. It seems between yesterday and today they had their first winter storm.
I'm from Duluth, which is a port on Lake Superior, which if I remember correctly is the largest of the Great Lakes and definitely the deepest, where many shipwrecks have occurred. In the summertime, people go fishing, go walking and have picnics by the shore or further north on the Lake. It is a place known for it's natural beauty and is commonly referred to as "God's country." There are many forests and further north, there is a National Park called the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, where you can camp and canoe from camp to camp, and portage (carry the canoe) to the next camping site. Northern Minnesota is close to Canada, and has a lot of conifers (Pine trees and trees with needles) in the forests and also lots of rock outcroppings, basaltic type since millions of years ago it was a volcanic area, and then later on it was covered by glaciers. You can tell I'm just a little bit proud! I miss it although I don't miss the cold too much.
